This is an online reading class that fosters the habit of reading happily.

ONEbook Online Reading focuses on developing critical thinking skills and encourages sharing different ideas to expand one's perspective and to foster open-mindedness. Our students will read books not only in their interest and level but also will be challenged to read classics and Newbery Award winners!

SOME EXAMPLES OF BOOKS WE READ...

FOR 7-9 yrs

Funny and mischievous tale about a young boy trying to transform someone selfish and mean to someone nice and gentle.

FOR 8-10 yrs

A story of a brave girl persevering despite all the challenges and hardships at school. We believe that "Grit" is what makes a student successful in all of his or her achievement

FOR 9-11 yrs

True classic! This beloved story will spark the interest for fantasy and adventure stories and is incredibly creative for our young readers to imagine the world the writer takes us!

FOR 10-12 yrs

Take a glimpse into the history of Mexico and the Great Depression in California. Historical Fiction at its best and a good reminder that life may not always go as planned but you can always find joy in any circumstance.

FOR 10-14 yrs
